MOR-EV Requirements
To be eligible for the MOR-EV rebate, you must be a Massachusetts resident or be a businesses or non-profit organizations located and licensed to operate in Massachusetts.
Resale of a MOR-EV vehicle for financial gain within 36 months is prohibited. That's why you must retain ownership of the vehicle for a minimum of 36 months to receive the rebate. If you're leasing a Hyundai EV and want to receive the MOR-EV rebate, the lease term must be at least 36 months. Purchases must maintain registration with the RMV (Massachusetts Registry of Motor Vehicles) for at least 36 months.

Individuals can show their Massachusetts driver's license or another valid form of state residency. Businesses and non-profit organizations will need to present a local business license, articles of incorporation, articles of organization, statement of information, or another formation document filed with the Massachusetts Secretary of State. Our team will have you sign an Applicant Terms & Conditions document, along with a Rebate Transfer Acknowledgement Form.
Complete MOR-EV Application Within 90 Days
Another option is to apply online and receive the rebate after your purchase or lease. Submit the required documentation for the rebate within 90 days of purchasing or leasing an eligible Hyundai electric vehicle from us. You will then receive a MOR-EV rebate check by mail.
You will need a copy of the Massachusetts vehicle registration certificate, a copy of the final sales or lease contract, and proof of residency.
